Parcel Theft Male arrested, charged and sent to prison

“PC 18768 MOSS had been made aware of repeated burglaries on his area at GREEN QUARTER, namely HALLMARK TOWER whereby parcels were stolen from within the foyer.  The suspect made efforts to conceal his identity on some occasions, however on one occasion commit the same offences with the same routine, without his face covered, enabling the suspect to be identified. The male would force open and damage the doors to gain access prior to stealing the items utilising binbags, backpacks, and suitcases.

On 22.10.2025, the male was causing issues in the TRAFFORD CENTRE and as such was arrested.  PC 09712 HETTIARACHCHIGE DON took on the role of completing the file, so it was suitable for Crown Prosecution Service after PC 18768 MOSS had completed the pre-arrest file.  After a denial in interview, PC 09712 HETTIARACHCHIGE DON took the matter to Crown Prosecution Service and secured 5 x charges for Burglary and the male was remanded into custody.

The case was heard at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on 24.10.2025 and the male was given a custodian sentence of 46 Weeks due to his “flagrant disregard for people and their property”.”
